How the UK National Amateur Padel Championship (UKNAPC) collects, uses and protects your personal information. Last updated 2 November 2026.

Who we are

The UK National Amateur Padel Championship 2027 (UKNAPC) and this website are run by Padel2020 Limited ("we", "us"). We decide how and why your personal information is used, which makes us the "data controller" under UK data protection law. Padel2020 Limited is registered in England and Wales, company number 17526622, and its registered office is The Farm, Twitton Lane, Otford, Kent, TN14 5JS. You can contact us at pete@uknapc.com or at that address.

What we collect

When you register as a pair or as a solo player, we collect your name, email address, mobile number, Playtomic (or equivalent) rating, chosen club and competition, and your answer on updates and services. We also keep your group, your fixtures, the scores you or your opponents record, and your payment reference and whether you have paid.

If you use the contact form we collect your name, email address and message. If you register interest on our earlier sign-up forms, we keep the name, email address, club and rating, or the club details, that you gave us.

We do not see or store your card details. Payments are taken by Revolut.

UKNAPC is for players aged 18 or over, so we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we find that we have, we will delete it.

How we use it, and why

To run the championship (our legal basis is carrying out the entry you asked for): placing you in a group, emailing you your payment link and group details, building fixtures and knockout rounds, publishing group tables, results and the list of registered pairs, taking and confirming payment, contacting you about your matches, and telling you about regional qualifiers and the National Finals if you qualify.

To answer your messages, and to keep the website and championship secure and working properly (our legitimate interests).

To send you updates and information on services by email or SMS, only if you said yes when you registered (your consent). You can say no, and you can change your mind at any time by emailing pete@uknapc.com or using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We will never sell your personal details to other companies for marketing purposes.

Who sees your information

Other players: so you can arrange your matches, the names, mobile numbers and email addresses of the pairs in your group are shared with each other once you have paid, and your knockout opponents receive the same details for you. We only do this because you agree to it when you register. Please use these details only to arrange UKNAPC matches.

The public: your names, competition, group and match results appear on your club's page on this website. Your email address and mobile number are not shown publicly.

Our service providers, who only act on our instructions: our website host, our email delivery service (Brevo), our payment provider (Revolut), and Google, which holds our earlier interest-form sign-ups. Some of these may process information outside the UK, in which case we rely on the safeguards required by law.

Our partners: if you said yes to updates and services, we may send you information on behalf of our championship partners. We do not give them your details to use for their own marketing.

We may also share information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep entry, group and result information for up to 24 months after the 2027 championship ends, then delete or anonymise it. Marketing choices are kept until you change them. Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The WordPress software and our payment provider may set cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site and take payment.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To do any of these, email pete@uknapc.com. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
